I Am Not a Bear
I'm settled back in Opal the bus, home from my epic cross-country adventure, the snow from our arctic deep freeze melting away. It is great to be home. I'm making adjustments to my space to make a more functional interior studio space.
I enjoyed delivering the little portrait of Snickers the dog. This client's other commissions are being postponed a bit, so I'm working on my own kitty portrait and a few other things.
Many creatures slow down in the cold, dark days of winter. I've always thought it would be nice to be able to hibernate like a bear, but I am not a bear. As long as I nurture my creative muse, I can continue to be productive. I am endeavoring to finish a painting every couple of days while home, or at least paint as close as possible to daily.
I'm still on a steep learning curve, pushing through challenges. Your interest, encouragement and support mean a lot to me!
Best~
Jayne
