The commissioning of a portrait is a collaboration.  I work with you to establish the pose, size and any other compositional elements you may desire.  Since I work from photographs, sometimes it is as simple as you providing me with a detailed photo that  captures the spirit of your loved one.  If such a photo is not available, I can take my own reference photos or combine elements from several existing photos.  The completion of a portrait may take from two weeks to two months.

8x10  = $400

9x12  = $500

11x14 =$650

12x16 =$750

16x20 =$950

Each additional subject adds 40% to the price.  Elaborate backgrounds will also cost more.  These prices reflect the time and attention that go into the portraits such as you see in the gallery.  However, if you are passionate about my work, yet your funds are limited, talk to me about what I can provide at a reduced rate.
